GTA 5 delayed to September - Official release date announced.

Recently it was announced that Grand Theft Auto 5 will be launched on September 17, 2013. Instead of it's original Spring release date.

It has been delayed to 'allow additional development time'.

Rockstar Games founder Sam Houser said "We are very excited for people to learn more about the game in the coming months".

Rockstar Games parent company, Take-Two Interactive and its investors are probably more eager for GTA 5 to launch than gamers, since the game's release is expected to deliver $600 million in revenues.

there just delaying it for more hype and more money, bugs wont be much of a issue

Centurial I rather have the game at it's best with no bugs when it's released. It's fine with me that they delayed it.


I hope they delay it until Q4 2014, just to see what you would say then.


and if it would come out in 2020 it would be better and than it wouldnt have bugs as you see shity games like cod their are thousands of bugs

not saying it's not gonna be a good game, I think it's gonna be one of the best games ever created. no doubt.
it'll be worth the wait. looking forward to getting it on one of the next gen consoles!

They wouldnt want to develop a game thats only going to have a 3 month life span when they can extend to what could be the next gen systems

They don't want to release the game on Xbox360 and then a couple of months later Xbox720 come out and no one plays xbox360 anymore. Which means GTA V is on Xbox720 not Xbox360.
