Zelda: Wind Waker coming to Wii U in Autumn 2013

4.7
A lot of people were surprised today during Nintendo's Press Conference as they revealed that they are working on a HD remake of the GameCube classic, The Legend Of Zelda: Wind Waker for the Wii U.

The remake is the first Legend Of Zelda game on Wii U, and Nintendo are working on it alongside another Legend of Zelda game, which was showcased at E3 2011.

Eiji Aonuma (Game designer over at Nintendo) said that their new game is expected to take quite some time to complete, because it will 'rethink the conventions of Zelda.'

Here is a video, commentary from Eiji Aonuma:

I feel like crying reading the comments that say "I've never played a Zelda game," and there is actually someone saying them too....

To the guy who says he never bought any Nintendo stuff...if you never had a Zelda, Mario, or Pokemon....pokemon. What is wrong with your childhood? How could you have never owned a pokemon game?....

This game was great on the Gamecube. This is diffidently on the top 10 of my favorite games. I'm sure it will be great on this console too!

That's around the time I played these games.

Because Zelda is constantly voted one of the best games ever made? If not THEE best game in probably every games chart ever?
Is that a good enuff reason?

So you think its childish to play it then? Thats sad that you think that, your probley a cod/fifa try hard so can figure an of the puzzles out in a zelda game. Grow up mate just because a game looks childish doesnt mean it is, im 19 and still play zelda on the N64 and gamecube, which is so much more fun than call of duty. Ok rant over ha

Maybe they'll use the touch screen for the parts where you could connect up the GBA to the Gamecube and have a friend use it to find extra stuff using Tingle? I still have a couple of Cubes and GBA's and 2 GBA / Cube link cables in fact.
It's almost certain in fact.
