PlayStation Network web store to launch in US next month

4.6
In December, PlayStation released their PlayStation Network in Europe. Well, for those of you in the US, wait not longer because it's coming for you soon!

The PSN will allow its users to be able to remotely browse purchase PlayStation titles. It will eventually even be able to allow users to have content automatically downloaded onto your PS3.

Sony Network Entertainment COO Shawn Layden has stated that the PlayStation store revamp caused "double-digit growth in the US and Europe."

This would be really nice if Microsoft brought this to the Xbox :D

Everyone is saying that xbox has had this forever. What they do not understand is this store (unlike xbox games on demand) brings brand new titles to your PS3 instead of having to wait x amount of days or months for the game to release for download on the 360. This is kinda like steam but on a platform where-as the xbox has just titles released much later. It's all about connivence people, not about "oh xbox has it first FTW #yoloswag". This will be better than Games on demand for those who think it wont be.
