Starfield hit over 230,000 concurrent players in its first two hours

Starfield hit more than 230,000 concurrent players in its first two hours on Steam, despite only being in its early access period.

According to SteamDB, the game hit a peak of 234,502 concurrent players on August 31 at 10pm ET (September 1 at 3am BST), just a couple hours after it had launched.

This was the sixth highest peak concurrent user count on Steam in the past 24 hours, even though the game isn’t officially released until September 6.

Players who buy Starfield’s Premium Edition or Constellation Edition get up to five days of early access to the game, while everyone else has to wait for the official release date.

Critical reception to the game has been largely positive, with the Xbox Series X and PC versions currently sitting on Metacritic scores of 87 and 88 respectively.

yeah, due to it being an amazing game (I've been watching other people streming)

once it gets officially released, the numbers will climb out of this world

Borderlands69 I don't really like the game refunded it after I played for 15 min lol I know not long enough to judge but I rather play fall out then space game honestly maybe when the games been ot for a year I'll buy it again


It basically is fallout just in space. I love that Bethesda switched it up. All the videos I've seen are amazing and looks interesting. Cant wait for the next fall out though for sure

I knew it would hit crazy amount of players. The advertising they did for this game was amazing and it looks like an awesome game. Cant wait to play
