The War Z removed from Steam
Complaints emerged on Steam's community forums and on Reddit, where players went to vent their anger about being sold an 'incomplete game'.
One of the most painful hits to it players is that Hammerpoint, the makers of The War Z, have blamed players for not understand the game's features.
“it was clear that there were a number of customers that felt that information about the game was presented in a way that could have allowed for multiple interpretations," The War Z executive producer Sergey Titov said in a statement on the game's official forums.
Steam said:
"We apologize for this and have temporary removed the sale offering of the title until we have time to work with the developer and have confidence in a new build. Those who purchase the game and wish to continue playing it via Steam may do so. Those who purchased the title via Steam and are unhappy with what they received may seek a refund by creating a ticket at our support site."
So once again a game has been released that wasn't fit for release and it's players are expected to pay full price and wait for updates that may or may not come.
How does this make you feel?

personally i am not a PC gamer, however im getting really good PC so i can be xD but anyways i think that is stupid for a game dev to promise so much and not give what they said, i can see if they said they where going to add so much the game would be a year delayed but they should have never promised something they couldn't accomplish

L33t-Ninja-Much i dont think it was that bad i meen truthfully so what if it wasnt done it will eventually be updated and done right think of it as a beta
The problem is they had people paying full price for what should have been a complete game, and ended up being an incomplete and horribly done beta.

Amp_SovietRussia It kind of sucks that they didn't "Finish" it before they released it. I was looking fwrd to playing either WarZ or DayZ but, I guess I will have to wait for WarZ. I do find it pretty honorable that they are giving "returns" on their game. But still they shouldn't have said the game was something it wasn't.
Yeah that's sad they would put out and incomplete game.
Steam was offering refunds, not Hammerpoint. If you try to get a refund from them, they warn you about putting you on a blacklist for Xsolla payment system, so you cant buy from places that use that payment system. They're also jerks about it when you try, and I'm pretty sure they updated their ToS so you cant get a refund.

G-StatusNo once it reached past the first few days of Alpha it was pretty good, whether features were lied about or not, still worth a minimal 10$Sulfur WarZ is a pretty awesome game, just the devs are jerks.
Really. I heard it was bad, and everything they said it was, was false.

Amp_VisionaryMGMTChicagoMadePunk So we complain about warz being incomplete but 90% of games are incomplete also ?.
This game was early alpha and they blatenly lied about SO MANY THINGS and started doing ban waves on innocent people to "boost sales" and "scare hackers"
This was NOT a good game.
After reading that It definately doesn't sound like it.
The devs are 1 level above monkeys and aren't suited for a game with that popular of demand. To anyone that might read this in the future, DO NOT buy this game. Just wait for the DayZ standalone game that's going to be made RIGHT. Instead of some scums that want to cash in on the latest 'fad'
