Minecraft Halloween Skin Pack raises money for charity

Developer of Minecraft: Xbox360 Edition, 4J Studios have raised $770,448 for charity.

The company tweeted:

“We are delighted to confirm that the Halloween Skin Pack brought in a total of $770,448 for the charities! Thanks everyone :) #MinecraftXBLA “

The Minecraft Halloween Skin Pack was sold on Xbox Live for just 160 MSP. The money raised is said to be getting split between the Block by Block, SANDS Lothians, Child's Play, and Macmillan Cancer Support charities.

Nice work 4J Studios and everyone who helped by buying the Skin Pack!

Oh wow, I am pleased that their Halloween Skin Pack had risen so much. I admire 4J Studios for doing something like this, it would be wonderful if more game companies did something like this.

Vlif Nice! but they really need more skins like xSyNySteRx said there should be a `Creat Your Own Skin` thing


Hopefully they add that sometime soon, because customizable skins really give players a a better feeling of making the game their own, which is what lots of games try to shoot for.
