Wii Mini will not have SD card slot

The features included in the soon to be release Canada-Only Wii Mini are getting fewer still.

Nintendo Canada have confirmed to Nintendo World Report that the new Wii Mini won't be including an SD card slot.

This means players will not be able to transfer their own save data or any downloaded data to or from the console.

Nintendo of Canada compared the Wii Mini and Wii U markets this holiday season as "... they are two very different products for a different type of player. It really depends on the experience that players want and their preferred investment in their gaming console. If a player just wants to play Wii games, Wii mini is a great choice at a great price. If the player wants more from their system, Wii U is the latest innovation of fun from Nintendo."

So with no internet functionality, no GameCube compatibility and no removable storage, users are starting the question the value of the coming Wii Mini.

I might just get it to say I got one, my Wii sensor bar broke, but this doesn't do barely anything so it's garbage.

Why would they make this when the Wii U has just come out (facepalm)
If they honestly think there going to even get close to making a profit they have another thing coming !

So true, that's gonna suck lmao. You have to start fresh with new save game data, and you can't even play free games or customize the Wii -__-
