Freezing issue with latest dashboard update

Since the arrival of the latest patch to the Xbox Dashboard, some users have been reporting that their xbox consoles have been locking up while navigating the dashboard.

The Xbox Live official status page had noted the issue and said that the Xbox support team will soon be fixing the problem. That notice wasn’t up for too long before it was removed, now everything is reportedly fine with the service. Although if any users are still experiencing problems with the latest dashboard on their Xbox, they should get in contact with Xbox Support

The same thing is happening to my friend, He called xbox support and they hung up on him when he said "My xbox keeps freezing on the dashboard"

gtapro151 mine has been doing it so its not fixed and i have a brand new slim this is ridiculous freezing and unrecognized disc

Persistence I just associate freezing with being an Xbox owner at this point. I've been playing Xbox for over a decade now and these things just happen. Pop your disk tray, take a chill pill, and you will be unfrozen momentarily. =)
