Xbox dashboard update out today

The Xbox is today being updated to fix vairous Xbox Music, Xbox Video and Smart Glass issues.

Major Nelson has announced:

“I wanted to let you know that the team has just released a system update for the Xbox 360 over Xbox LIVE. Starting today when you sign in to Xbox LIVE you’ll receive a prompt to accept this mandatory update. If you are signed into LIVE already, you may be signed out and asked to accept the update and you’ll be back online in a few moments.

In this update, we are correcting some issues such as displaying the incorrect playlist name when launching a playlist from Xbox SmartGlass to the console, an error with Xbox Video closed-captioning and an error with Xbox Music that some were experiencing.

RedSoloCup i am surprised it is just those three, the update took probably over 20 minutes to download, and my internet is quick! so if you haven't updated yet turn your xbox on and start the download early!

This update only took about 7 minutes for me...
Do i have good internet? Or do people have bad internet?

Gold-Membership Does anybody know how big this update is MB? I play COD on Mobile Hot Spot And these updates are killing me.

Why would you play on a mobile hot spot?

Some people don't have a choice, I was in the same position a few months ago.

This update took quite a while to download considering the sort of fix it was meant for. At least those who regularly use SmartGlass will not have any more problems with it.

DEEJAYstar46 I haven't used smartglass yet.

It's really only good for when you're watching netflix, or hulu or something.. You can be watching, then decide to switch over to a game, click on it on your phone, pc, or tablet, pick up your computer, and start playing.

They should focus on other problems with Live. I wish they didnt make everyone download this, I dont even use those features.
