David Vonderhaar: Commentaries are lame

4.7

David Vonderhaar, Game Design Director at Treyarch, has made it publicly known that "commentaries are lame". That's a pretty big statement considering how much of a positive effect Youtube and big commentators have on the Call of Duty community.

Below you will find a few images taken from MuzzaFuzza's Twitter account. Above are images from WhiteBoy7thSt and David Vonderhaar. For those of you who do not know, MuzzaFuzza and WhiteBoy7thSt are commentators on youtube with a total combined audience of 2 million people! That is a huge audience! What you may not have known about them, is apparently they are "lame".

As reported and proven time and time before, Mom and Pop shops that sell videogames are often easily swindled to sell you products once they receive them. Money talks, and these shop owners often listen! Games have been known to slip out of these stores up to two weeks early if you have enough cash on the table.

What are your opinions on people who legitimately buy the game early? Should they be punished with channel strikes, ban's and resets? Or is it fair game since they legally bought this game at a certified reseller?

I agree, commentaries are very very sad, sitting there taking into a computer screen while playing a game, its pretty low life to be honest. Its the real losers who do it, and no one here can argue with that!

Pummpy1 Was he being serious about banning people?

No.

Pzymo There is never a reset, it been rumored time and time before first off. Secondly who ever paid that much for a standard edition is a freakin sucka, I bought standard yesterday for 55$. white is the worst commentator.

This. The rumor comes from complaining fans about people who have the game early when they don't.

And majority of commentators for games like Call of Duty are terrible.

Mortar Hehe, I am not too sure about the comment regarding commentators. As for the idea about punishing people who blag their way to getting a game early from "mom and pop" stores, I feel, if they're able to do it, why not? It is the store owner's fault, not the buyer's.

I 100% agree with this. ^^

It shouldn't matter if there get the game early or not. They paid for it, as long as on the actual release day everyone starts at level 1, then there isn't much advantage to it.

DEEJAYstar46 How can he say that commentaries are lame when they added the new CODcasting feature to the game. He is so stupid.

Can't you read?
