Microsoft will reward those who play 140+ hours of Halo 4 this month

4.6
If you've got the stamina and/or time to run up 140+ hours on Halo 4's multiplayer before November 30, then you'll get 600 Microsoft Points for your efforts.

As part of Xbox Live Rewards, Halo 4 players are encouraged to spend as much time with the game as possible in order to score free credit. Over 70 hours will gain you 300 MS points, while more than 35 hours will get you 100.
That means if you're aiming for the 140+ mark, you'll need to play Halo 4 for six hours a day until November 30. That may be achievable if you don't have a job or go to school, but for many of us, it's just a dream. Or a nightmare.

Is 6 hours a day on the one game actually fun? We're divided here, so let us know how many hours your first Halo 4 session was.

So reward people for doing nothing productive with their life and having no life...Sounds reasonable

I will be surprised if anyone actually gets over 140 hours.

zeke157 huh, i wonder when then say "140+ hours on Halo 4's multiplayer" meaning the actual "IN-GAME" time you play counts or just sitting about on the main menu. Since it might be impossible to reach that 140 mark...unless you don't have a job or school...

As long as you're in the menu, it's fine. It would be way to hard to get 140 hours while in an actual game because the average game lasts for 10 minutes.

Hmm... Compensation for doing something that you like? Enjoy.

Just because you play a game a lot doesn't mean your a no life. Its a hobbie, its fun to do. If your a pro player then you could be competing for something. Although im not a big halo fan because im not to good at it, im too used to CoD and BF and things like that, the only thing i can play is Team Swat which i will do extremely good in. I also love forge maps and racing and stuff like that but i just couldn't see myself playing Halo 4 for that much hours every day, and also Black ops 2 is coming out so i will be playing that most of my free time! =D Cheers!

CleverJimmy You shouldnt get rewarded for being a nolife

This. 140hours in 3 and a bit weeks is beyond no-life and anyone who gets this needs to evaluate their lives or better yet just kill themselfs.
