Microsoft will reward those who play 140+ hours of Halo 4 this month

4.6
If you've got the stamina and/or time to run up 140+ hours on Halo 4's multiplayer before November 30, then you'll get 600 Microsoft Points for your efforts.

As part of Xbox Live Rewards, Halo 4 players are encouraged to spend as much time with the game as possible in order to score free credit. Over 70 hours will gain you 300 MS points, while more than 35 hours will get you 100.
That means if you're aiming for the 140+ mark, you'll need to play Halo 4 for six hours a day until November 30. That may be achievable if you don't have a job or go to school, but for many of us, it's just a dream. Or a nightmare.

Is 6 hours a day on the one game actually fun? We're divided here, so let us know how many hours your first Halo 4 session was.

Two_Faced First, you have a life if you do this but... Your life is wasted; it would take over five straight days of playing in less then a month do get the 600MSP. They are only doing this because CoD: BO II is coming out. They want people to be worried about getting $7.50 worth of MSP and not play CoD. This is what is wrong with our country today, this multibillion dollar company is incouraging young kids to spend more time on video games then anything else in their lives just so the huge company (Microsoft) can make more money. Do people realize that they would be getting paid about 2 cents an hour!! This right here this contest/marketing scam made me lose all faith in Microsoft. I was going to buy Halo 4 when I got paid but now I am not because of what this is supporting. I'm asking everyone to please realize what they are actually asking you to do and take the game back or if you have to keep it, do not play at all this month. I thought CoD was bad but paying kids 2 cents an hour for the companys own personal gain is rediculous! I'm at awe that they are doing this, 600MSP is actually nothing to them they will lose no profit from giving them away, actually the oposite. The amount of people that will do it will be minute to the people that attempt it = profit for the, == to the reward for you.

That was very well said, and I 100% agree.

yo2434 its easy to play 6 hours a day while in school.you get home at 3,play till 9,do homework till 11 or so and on weekends you can easily put 15 hours each day.

ODST
Rampages 140 hours is impossible............. unless you never step foot outside.

or you could read the whole article; it says 6 hours a day from today, start playing 8-12 hours a day and you will finish in about half the time.

Did you just say 8-12 hours? How could someone play 8-12 hours of gameplay, not even just being online? I would get bored in 2 hours...
