Halo 4 gets tough on sexist players

4.3
343 Industries wants to make it clear: It will brook no further discrimination of any kind in Halo 4. Executive producer Kiki Wolfkill and studio head Bonnie Ross say that sexist discrimination of any kind will be met with a lifetime ban from both the game and the Xbox Live network.

Ross says that "most people look at a franchise like Halo, and automatically assume it's run by a guy," but this particular franchise is run by a few ladies, and they're not having any discriminatory nonsense in their latest sequel.

We agree with the sentiment, and hope that the harsh penalties make sure that the losers who make sexist and other offensive comments get shown the door for good. The ideal should be to make sure all forms of this offensive discrimination are squashed as far and wide as possible, no matter who's running the show.

I love coming onto a gaming forum that is meant for professionals and seeing all of the "Kitchen" related comments

It's kinda funny considering that all the people who write kitchen jokes,
Are the fat asses that still live at home with there mom/dad and would probally starve if it were not for them.

Xbox Live needs more girl gamers, it gets kinda gay always talking to guys, especially the 4yos on Call of Duty

This has been in place for a long time, Microsoft has just decided to start re-enforcing there past policies do to the recent dash update

Anyways this probally still wont stop all the sexiest scrubs :(
So many annoying children would starve without there moms, and yet they hate on women lol

Visor isnt this a violation against our rights?

yes microsoft can only perma ban you, not a gaming company. gaming companies can ban you off their servers but that's it. this is most likely a fake rumor highly doubt it will work like they say it will

343i owned by Microsoft and as the article saids 343i will ban you from the game than Microsoft will ban you from xbox live

What are you talking about?
I think this looks awesome I hope they do change it.

THuNdErModsCoD I think the perma console ban is pretty harsh maybe a 24 at first then a week and then on to a perma ban. It's sorta harsh. Time to stay in party chat otherwise I won't be on xbox live.

You stay in party, they stay in the kitchen. Everybody's a winner. :)

GratefulEthan Ohh I get it now.. That is why Halo sucks so bad, decisions are being made by women. I bet their fat.

It's funny because this article is inaccurate. This goes for all XBL, and this policy has been out for a while. Microsoft just chose to take 343i as an example, because a few of their top employees are female.

Also, your post makes no sense.
Dunno how they had time to make this game, they should be in the kitchen....

and you should be in the ground for thinking like that.

Stxrm This seems like a good idea. I hope they go through with it. But how do they find out who is being sexist? Is this from online forums or through game chat?

Exactly what i was thinking? Maybe the girls join a game and drop the ban hammers if they make sexist comments.
This is a little harsh, i must say.

AR15 I like their idea. But bans won't stop children for being ignorant, and won't stop people from being out right stupid.

Yeah your probably right.
