Armored Core 6 Reportedly Launching In September

4.3
While FromSoftware chose to announce the first major expansion for Elden Ring on a random Tuesday rather than on the game's one-year anniversary, it is not the only title the Japanese developer is working on. It is also bringing back a famed series, with Armored Core 6 coming to platforms this year, and it's now reportedly coming earlier than many might've expected.

As reported by Exputer (thanks Resetera), their sources reveal that FromSoftware plans to release Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon between September and October this year. Furthermore, the outlet reports that FromSoft want to push Armoured Core 6 out before it launches the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC for Elden Ring. This could suggest that the Elden Ring DLC could launch before the end of 2023.

While this is not confirmation that Armored Core 6 is launching in early autumn, the author of the report has form in that they have previously leaked a gameplay video of Kojima's upcoming game Overdose. Their sources go unrevealed but it was in consideration that the new Armored Core game would come out this year so a September to October release window wouldn't be too outlandish.

That FromSoftware would want to get the title out into the world before they release the Elden Ring DLC is telling too. Considering the astounding numbers that Elden Ring has generated for FromSoftware in sales, as well as column inches, it would be sensible if the studio prioritised its success. That is not to say Armored Core is not important. The series has a long history and is one of FromSoftware's signature series, and a new entry could well turn out to be another winner for the developer since it has become so much better recognised since the release of Elden Ring.

Armored Core 6 won't have gameplay influenced by the likes of Dark Souls, Bloodborne, and Sekiro, and will be more action orientated. Armored Core 6: Fires of Rubicon will be launching on PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, and PC, while those eager to get their hands on it can now pencil in September on their calendars until we hear more.

Runts Doesn't really look that good and not a fan of armor suit type tech games or even vehicle shooters.

its armor core its a hit or miss games for people who dont like mech games, its by fromsoft so the game looks amazing already but games tend to get downgraded in the end.

so if you dont like it you dont have to buy it nor watch gameplay of it.

im not a fan of twisted metal but the game is fun to play with friends, same with armor core and pretty much any game.
