Facebook and Twitter removed from Xbox 360 dash

4.7
Microsoft has removed Facebook and Twitter apps from the new Xbox 360 dashboard update that emerged on consoles earlier this week.

According to The Verge a source familiar with the matter indicated that the decision was made in order to encourage users to use newly introduced Internet Explorer
Although both social networking apps are still prominently displayed on the official Xbox website, they are no longer available to download through the marketplace.

Consoles that had Facebook and Twitter installed prior to the update can continue to use them, but new users will have to turn to the browser.

At the bottom it says "Consoles that had Facebook and Twitter installed prior to the update can continue to use them, but new users will have to turn to the browser." So no worries ;)
