Halo 4 leak: Microsoft perma-banning early players

Microsoft is reportedly issuing permanent Xbox Live bans to users found to be playing Halo 4 ahead of its official launch.

"During your suspension, you will not be able to log into Xbox Live," reads the Microsoft messaging sent to some members of the Reddit community. "Your Xbox Live privileges will not be reinstated."
Halo franchise director Frank O'Connor said over the weekend that he was unsurprised by the recent Halo 4 leak, which has seen copies of the game sneak into the wild almost a month ahead of the Halo 4 release date of November 6.

Microsoft said last week that it's "working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation".

Interesting, on a pirated copy the front of the Disc should be blank.
This is an actual copy of the Game. Bit of a contradiction. This person was possibly one
of the production team staff.

If you were to go online afterwards and you have the game in your recent games played then yes they can. If you do have it. Stick to offline accounts.

AR15 I don't think anyone with a flashed Xbox is stupid enough to go online with it, therefore they can't be banned.


There has been alot of people that got the link from TTG that went online with it. Or at least tried to.

How was the story line? Give me details :)


343. industries did a great Job :) has a pretty sad ending but yeh the campaign was great, graphics are great and there is a ton of new weapons like forerunner weapons, not going say to much don't want to spoil it for people,
