Halo 4 leak: Microsoft perma-banning early players

Microsoft is reportedly issuing permanent Xbox Live bans to users found to be playing Halo 4 ahead of its official launch.

"During your suspension, you will not be able to log into Xbox Live," reads the Microsoft messaging sent to some members of the Reddit community. "Your Xbox Live privileges will not be reinstated."
Halo franchise director Frank O'Connor said over the weekend that he was unsurprised by the recent Halo 4 leak, which has seen copies of the game sneak into the wild almost a month ahead of the Halo 4 release date of November 6.

Microsoft said last week that it's "working closely with our security teams and law enforcement to address the situation".

lol The latest firmware for flashed consoles LT v3.0 came out almost a year ago and in all that time Microsoft have not been able to detect it, in all the system updates they have done over the passed year, so I would say its the best time to hook up a modded xbox to xbox live as you put it :)
As for the people who play Halo 4 online over 3 weeks early are just asking to get console banned and deserve it for being so stupid.
I play it on a Jtag/RGH console you can play it online using XBSlink or Xlink Kai, I saw nearly 100 people playing it on XBSlink today, thats the way to go ;)


The way to do it is simply to play it on an offline profile and not play multiplayer.
