CI Games has released a strategic roadmap detailing the studio's plans for the next five years, revealing that work has begun on a new PvE tactical shooter codenamed 'Project Scorpio', which will serve as a live service game when it launches in 2024. The roadmap also includes the studio's long-term plans for the Sniper Ghost Warrior and Lord of the Fallen franchises.

Sniper Ghost Warrior's publisher introduced a new IP, Project Scorpio, saying that the game will be a premium multiplayer tactical shooter developed by one of its internal studios, Underdog. The team already have post-launch plans for the newly-announced IP, such as in-game purchases, events, and expansions. According to the roadmap, the development team at Underdog Studio has been strengthened to deliver Project Scorpio on its planned release window.

CI Games has also revealed yet another IP, codenamed 'Project Survive', which will be developed within Unreal Engine 5. The upcoming survival game will be developed in collaboration with an external studio, Batfield. Project Survive will have unique points of difference compared to its counterparts, while it will appeal to a wide audience with its state-of-the-art graphics. Besides that, fidelity, flexibility, and freedom will be the base premise of Project Survive if the developer team manages to deliver the game by 2025.

Perhaps most excitingly, the reboot of 2014's Lords of the Fallen is nearer than players think, as CI Games announced that The Lords of the Fallen will launch in 2023. Developed by Hexworks, the reboot will have an advanced combat system and renewed graphics, as it also removes potential barriers to entry for newcomers.

The team also confirmed that the gameplay reveal for the reboot will be coming in late 2022. Lastly, CI Games has shared plans for building a franchise upon Lords of Fallen, introducing another new IP known as 'Project III', which is described as "a new title built around more ambitious gameplay options for wider audience appeal". It is planned for release sometime between 2025 and 2026.

CI Games will continue to focus on the Sniper Ghost Warrior series, as it was confirmed that a new Sniper Ghost Warrior game is in development to "drive further prominence within FPS". The next entry in the popular series will be developed with an external partner under the leadership of Underdog Studio.
