The next free Epic Games Store titles have been announced.

Spirit of the North, a third-person adventure game inspired by the landscapes of Iceland, and single-player sci-fi adventure game The Captain, will be free to claim from Epic’s PC marketplace from September 15-22.

They will replace Hundred Days – Winemaking Simulator and Realm Royale Reforged Epic Launch Bundle, which are now free to download until September 15.

The Epic Games Store gave away 89 free titles last year (down from 103 in 2020), with a combined worth of $2,120. According to Epic, users claimed over 765 million free games in 2021.

The latest batch of ‘free’ PC titles offered to Amazon Prime Gaming members was made available last week.

September’s free games line-up features eight titles including Assassin’s Creed Origins, Football Manager 2022 and Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor.
