Wii U November 18 release date denied by 'whistleblower'

4.4
Rumours have a habit of spreading like wildfire, and the most recent Wii U release date rumour is no exception. PDP allegedly leaked the release date during a GameStop managers' conference, but recent updates show it was a misunderstanding.

Gaming accessory maker PDP apparently leaked the North American release date for the Wii U during a GameStop managers' conference, where they were detailing upcoming products.
This morning reports came through from Kotaku that the November 18 release date 'was all a misunderstanding," according to PDP's senior vice president of sales and marketing, William Otte.

PDP community manager Candace Hinton said "at this time we can't confirm Nintendo's dates and we don't know exactly what was heard, but we simply do not know that this point.," while Nintendo simply stated, "we have nothing to announce at this time."

There is a possibility the release date is November 18, and this is simply a cover up, so Nintendo can officially announce the Wii U release date at their event in New York - if of course that is what Nintendo are announcing.

At this time however, there is not much to say about the release date, except that is was just another rumour that may or may not hold any weight of truth.

Rule34 Either they're going to officially announce it for that date, or push it back a week further. I mean, predicting release dates isn't that hard. For CoD, 2nd Tuesday in November. It can even be the first Tuesday, as long as it's not too early in the month.

COD release date is announced way before anything else is, no need to predict

They Nintendo tries so hard with the Wii U, just to fail.

Most if not all of there products i justdont buy because they are sh*t

I agree, the games are terrible on the wii.

Apart from bowling, gotta love bowling

Don't Hate. I personally don't like their products either, but they are making money on mostly the Younger audience. I don't see a kid without a DS.
When i was younger i had the Gameboy, then the first DS, then i discovered the PSP.
They do try really hard, but if their goal is to please a Young group or the older group(Only Those who want to exercise on the wii) then they have succeeded.

True, Nintendo products are what got me into gaming when I was younger.

my first handheld was the first gameboy, still like it better than the wii lol
