Midnight Club Remake Fanmade Concept Trailer Looks Fascinating

4.3
Midnight Club is one of the many Rockstar IPs that has been shelved for a long time, but it recently received a new remake concept trailer by a team of fans on YouTube, which proves that gamers still love the series.

Created and shared by TeaserPlay, the Midnight Club concept trailer showcases the series’ iconic night-time races in the heart of the city. If you have already played a Midnight Club game, then you probably know it was home to a wide variety of cars from older American muscle cars to modern Japanese and European supercars.

Furthermore, the ability to customize every aspect of the car with ultimate details has always been an iconic gameplay feature for the series.

The concept trailer above has been created in Unreal Engine 5, but despite its great look, it’s not a playable demo, and the creator will not share the raw file of the project for any commercial purposes. So, you probably won’t get any unofficial remake or remaster. But even if someone attempts to remake a Midnight Club, Rockstar will likely shut down the project at once, as the studio has never been kind toward modders.

Before becoming a factory of Grand Theft Auto and Red Dead Redemption, Rockstar Games used to develop multiple titles from different genres. Although it’s been a long time since Rockstar launched anything other than a Red Dead Redemption or a Grand Theft Auto, people still love the studio’s shelved IPs. From Bully to Max Payne, to Midnight Club, and even the unreleased Agent.

However, Midnight Club is one of the IPs that that was suddenly disappeared from Rockstar’s pipeline. The final iteration of the series was launched in the 7th generation of consoles before Rockstar fully focuses on Grand Theft Auto 5 and Red Dead Redemption 2.

The last time we heard anything official about Midnight Club was after the acquisition of Zynga by Take-Two Interactive, when the CEO of Take-Two mentioned Midnight Club as one of the key IPs from Rockstar Games, giving fans a little bit of hope that it might come back as a mobile game in the future.
