Minecraft sales pass seven million on PC

Minecraft sales continue unabated. Daniel Kaplan, business developer at Mojang, revealed today that the PC version of Minecraft has exceeded sales of seven million units; comparatively, the Xbox Live Arcade version has sold three million.

The seven millionth sale comes a week after Minecraft's 1.31 patch, which adds trading functionality and combines both single-player and multiplayer into one unified mode.

They are making lots on this game. Especially when they brought it to Xbox.

WOW the xbox version is catching up to that really rapidly. Minecraft has been out on PC for almost 3 years now and XBOX just came in May... already has half the sales.

I think it has sold more but they reset the counter because you used to have to pay for the updates.

Yeah Xbox is at 3 million sales and also 10,000,000 x 20 = $200,000,000

So basically they get that much money which is pretty insane!
