Xbox 720: "new Xbox" is "coming out with Windows 8"

Xbox 720 is “coming out with Windows 8,” according to what could be a slip-up by Microsoft general manager Brian Hall.

Hall was discussing the launch of Outlook.com in an interview with The Verge when he mentioned the “new Xbox” in relation to Windows 8.

Here’s the full quote:

“We’ve had Hotmail and operated Hotmail for about 16 years, we obviously have Exchange, and Outlook, that people use at work. We just decided it was time to do something new and bring the best from each of those and put them together and release it right in time for the new wave of products that we could have coming out with Windows 8, with the new version of Office with the new Windows phone and the new Xbox.”

Jedi_Knight to be honest im looking forward to windows 8 more than the xbox 720 its probably the same as the 360 just 400$ more expensive -_-

are you sure ? i was told that 99 was the price of the rumoured super slim PS3 that comes with no HDD and just an internal 16GB memory ? if they are not looking at releasing the console for atleast another year how can there be a confirmed price already ? and how could they justify selling it for 99 when the current xbox 360s are sold at around 75 with no HDD

I kinda don't want it to come out soon since i'm like my Xbox right now and I wouldn't feel like moving onto a newer console.
