Sony asks you to design the next DualShock 3 controller

SCEA is asking gamers to submit design ideas for its next DualShock 3 controller.

The firm has released a number of different colours over the years, and it plans to release more - designed by you.
"We want to add to our line-up of DualShock 3 colors, but this time we want you to be the designer," says Sony via the US PS Blog.

"Starting today, and ending August 15th, you can ... submit your idea for the design of the next DualShock 3 controller. Whether your design is based on your favorite game or your ideal color, all PlayStation fans will be able to vote on your idea."

Aced Companies are real picky, i doubt theyll even use someones design


Yeah I doubt they'll use anyone's design. They've been using the same controller since their first system!

No, I don't think they have plans to change the controller, not now. They might release a new controller that you have to buy separate, but the original one will probably be included in the next console.

Mazur eh... i like it just how it is. it's nice, it's light, and it's fine.

I like the lightness too. I actually really like the PlayStation controllers, seeing as I had both the first one, and the second one. Its just that now that I'm older, it doesn't go well with my hands.


yes, that's the thing i like the best about the controller, how light it is :)


Another thing I like is that the triggers are next to the bumpers. I dunno why, its just a tiny bit easier that way.
