Ouya adds exclusive console color for last week of Kickstarter drive

If you haven't picked up an Ouya (pre-order) yet, perhaps the news of a new Kickstarter-exclusive edition will entice you. Available right now through the end of the campaign (next Wednesday), the $140-or-more console comes in an exclusive darker color scheme, with a matching controller. Those controllers, by the way, now have "O" "U" "Y" and "A" button labels, never allowing you to forget what this thing is called.

A Kickstarter update also revealed that the Ouya will have a Vevo music video player, with a selection of over 50,000 music videos.

No it wouldnt. They have over 6 times what they needed to start the project. they are going to do all they can to make it the best console out. Mojang wants to put minecraft on it, that means that they think this console will be successful. The only reason you think that its going to be the next nintendo is because its by android. Android has experience making phones and tablets, therefore its not going to be hard to make a console. its like making a computer, not that hard. this console is going to be amazing for indie game devs. This console is a devkit.

The Console is regularly 99$, and most of the backers already have some type of HDD. (I have two 500gb HDDs) one of which I plan to use on this ;D

I know for a fact that none of you knows what this is because of your comments. Is console is in NO way intended to compete with current consoles like you guys are saying ex. "I think ill wait for the new xbox price before I look into this". This console is a ANDRIOD power device, meaning it runs aneroid like many phones and tablets. If you look at the kick starter page you would know this. Plus this IS NOT meant to run calm of duty its meant to run andriod phone games and they have a bunch of popular moblie game devs on board. And to comments regarding the controller they put a bunch of work into how it feels and works, it also features a 3 inch touch screen (according to kickstarter). I'm not hate'n on you guys you just neednto get your facts straight the console will do great they have mad over 6,000,000$ already and its not even out yet.

You do know that 140 dollars is most probably the price for the worst of there consoles... Like one without a HDD =/
