Unlocking Xbox Achievements may soon get you free MSP

If you are what's commonly referred to as an "Achievements Whore", you may soon have a real incentive to rake in those Xbox Gamerscore points besides feeling good about yourself on Xbox forums.

Microsoft has teased that it will soon be offering new 'rewards' based on the unlocking of Achievements in Xbox 360 games.
The announcement came from the official Twitter feed of the Xbox Live Rewards website, which teased, "Coming Fall: a new way to earn Rewards based on your Achievements!"

Further prying for details was dismissed by the MS rep, but those familiar with the Xbox Live Rewards site will know that it's a loyalty program that offers free Microsoft Points as rewards for completing specific and varying tasks.

That considered, we expect some Achievement-related MS Point rewards coming this Autumn. And that sounds pretty good to us.

We won't get loads per achievement maybe for a 10g maybe 1-3 msp but like 50g about 10 or something like that but i think this is a good idea i don't think gamerscore shows much + it can be good for the sellers as more people would be buying more games for the msp but i hope this happens.

earning the reward points is to long and you have to pay like 40 pound for 200msp.

I'd just get games with loads of high gamerscore achievements on them so i can get them MSP's!

Probably about 100msp for every 2000g though...-_-

think about there market they prob give like 5 msp per achivment haha

This sounds cool but first they have to deal with the gamerscore modders. I hate seeing people with 30,000+ gamerscore that took them 5 minutes to get. Hopefully they count your past and new achievements cause im bout to hit 38,000 Gamerscore!
