Microsoft lawyers remove leaked 'Xbox 720' document

4.6
A 56 page PowerPoint document that supposedly reveals sensitive information about Microsoft's next-generation console has been removed from the website it was leaked to.

The document, published on Scribd, claims the Xbox 720 will be released for the 2013 holidays with 4-6x the power of the current Xbox 360, at a price of $299.
It was removed following a complaint from Covington & Burling LLP, an international law firm that lists Microsoft as one of its clients.

The authenticity of the document, apparently written in 2010, remains a matter for dispute.

If genuine, the details within are difficult to verify as the paper appears to have been written in 2010. Games console design is a process that traditionally has one project undergo a multitude of redesigns.

According to the document, the Xbox 720 will feature Blu-ray compatibility, a form of augmented reality glasses, "Kinect version 2" and the recent SmartGlass service.

I'm happy with the current XBOX, pretty annoyed at how I may have to buy another. I don't see what's wrong with the 360.

I don't see a point in a new Kinect, I won one from this site in fact and I love it :D

I bet the v2 will just be smaller and have a more "advanced" camera.

Kardashian hahahaha xbox is finally getting blu ray lol since PS3 has blu ray they are trying to compete with it in the movie playing now cause PS3 made a good ammount of money adding a blu ray player more people bought PS3 instead of Blu Ray players since they could have both a gaming consle and play the HQ blu ray movies lol

other than holding more memory there really isnt a need for blu ray if your a true gamer.and by true gamer i mean at least 10hrs gaming daily and you dont use your console for anyhting else.....i honestly dont care what format the disk is bc ill be installing them to hdd anyway, and i dont have an hd tv so again i dont care.ps. im not sure if its my ps3 or just bc its the design or if its blu ray but the ps3 is really choppy with reading disks, like it will spin a little bit too fast then almost stop and then spin faster again and repeat.happens with ever disk so its not the disks.
