Desert Dakar Rally has been announced by Saber Interactive and is coming to consoles and PC next year.

Featuring both singleplayer and online multiplayer, the racing game will hit PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (via Steam and Epic Games Store) in 2022 with no solid release date confirmed as of yet.

Desert Dakar Rally touts some interesting features such as dynamic season and weather changes while promising an authentic rallying experiencing, complete with full vehicle damage.

It wasn’t too long ago that Bigmoon Entertainment developed Dakar 18 which was met with middling reviews. Our former resident racing expert Thomas was pretty critical in his own 3/10 verdict.

Bigmoon will helm Desert Dakar Rally though under the studio’s new name, Saber Interactive Porto. Hopefully the team can map out a much stronger successor when the game launches next year. Here’s what to expert when it arrives:
