Xbox exclusive horror game Scorn delayed to 2022

3.7
Last year, a first-person horror shooter called Scorn was shown off during Inside Xbox as a Microsoft platform exclusive. The game garnered a lot of attention for its striking visuals and twisted gameplay. Since then, we haven't heard much about the project, but we now know that it's been delayed to 2022. Initially, Scorn was expected to launch this year.

Kepler Interactive — the newly-established collective Ebb Software is part of — just released a statement where it discusses funding. However, hidden among the text is confirmation that Scorn is launching in 2022.

With operational hubs in London and Singapore, the Kepler group now represents an international team of over 250 talents spanning 10 countries, working exclusively on original IP. The 2022 slate includes hotly anticipated titles such as Sloclap’s Sifu, Ebb Software’s Scorn, Awaceb’s Tchia, Alpha Channel’s Tankhead and an unannounced title by A44.

We'll keep you posted as soon as we know more about when Scorn is launching next year. Hopefully, we won't have to wait until the end of 2022 to play it. The horror title is launching on Xbox Series X|S and PC (Microsoft Store, Steam, and GOG). Xbox Game Pass members will also be able to jump in on day one.

This game looks intense, I might have to cop it when it releases in 2022, I hope it will be worth the wait not gonna lie!

Nothing surprising there. Seems like all games get delayed at some point
