Robert Bowling resigns from Infinity Ward

4.2
Today another key figure in the CoD community has stepped down from their official standing. Robert Bowling or fourzerotwo has stepped down from Infinity Ward as a creative strategist. In the years he has been with Infinity Ward he has become somewhat of a icon for CoD players when it comes to new happenings and issues with the games. When a known face like fourzerotwo leaves a company, it’s worth knowing about regardless if you love them or hate them.

He made this announcement via twitter as shown below, Twitter has been the social platform that he most vocally communicated with players.

Robert Bowling Twitter Resign

While we here at TheTechGame have been a home for some of the biggest headaches to fourzerotwo, we recognize his efforts to make the CoD community a better environment for all even in the midst of pesky things like lobbies. We wish him the best of success at whatever he jumps into next.

How do you feel about his departure from Infinity Ward? How will it shape the future of IW CoDs?

Robert Bowling Awesome

Update: Here's Activision's official comment on the news: "We sincerely thank Robert for his many years of service. He's been a trusted and valued member of the Infinity Ward team. We wish him all the best on his decision to pursue future opportunities."

aimiami12 I love how everyone hates him but if it wasnt for him COD wouldnt be where it is today.
He helped make Cod4 then became a huge part of the team for the biggest COD ever (MW2) and sold the fastest entertainment launch in the history

Black Ops did that not MW2

Although MW3 wasn't the best, I would like to thank Robert Bowling all the work he has done for IW.

KSIxSP33D i liked him beacuse he was one of us.. bealive it or not he has made many mods to WaW zombies and other games also i see why he is leaving he couldnt create his own content anymore and he doesent want that people think his bad at his job..
Are you retarded?
One does not make illegal unapproved mods without taking the boot.

Also, honestly.
Who the hell has really cared that he stepped down, honestly my suggestion of a creative strategist is someone with adhd or a light autistic behavior, these people have infinite fantasy and ideas, with some work these fantasies can be very usefull if properly "translated".

Josh Olin should'nt have left, he was a community man.

Also, i enjoyed black ops multiplayer big time, but people allways said "its too easy".
Now go look at youtube and search: mw2 top ten freak out reactions by anoj.
Now that, that is your reaction when its too hard for your brain to keep up. Wich one do you prefer?
I suggest the first, kicking constant arse is epic, aye?
