No 'new Xbox' talk at E3, Microsoft says

Having held the top NPD spot for the past 14 months straight -- and with the introduction of Kinect -- the old Xbox 360 still has some life in it yet. "For us, 2012 is all about Xbox 360," Xbox spokesperson and Group Manager of PR David Dennis told Bloomberg. "There will be no talk of new Xbox hardware at E3 or anytime soon."

A few sources close to news outlet Bloomberg insist that Microsoft will introduce a new console in 2013 at the earliest. Next year's E3 could hold an unveiling of the Xbox 360 successor, says the report, with a potential same-year launch to follow. Now doesn't that sound familiar?

TCT_Productions This is why I play PC games. Better graphics, really there is, check any youtube video of PC gameplay. Also with PC the community is nicer, and you have better and more games. Also games like, BF3 on Xbox have 32 players MAX. PC, 128. Suck it. I wish it was like back in the day where everyone had a killer PC like me. Imagine playing on a computer, in one press of a button your on example TTG and another your watching po-, YouTube videos. Also, if you are an extreme gamer you will realize that you can actually have THREE monitors, side by side, to have a 3D amazing effect and all can be 3D. God I wish I could play BF3 in 3D with 3 monitors and sorround sound with all my friends and get over 100 frames per second... oh wait, I CAN!!!! This post is gonna get soooo flamed by you little fanboys. Have fun!

If the PC community is nicer than what are you doing in it?

That's means they need to take some time to develop the new xbox, which is great way!

Because It will always fail if they quickly build and release too soon can screw it up.

why waste 1000$ on a gaming computer when u can spend 200$ on a xbox

The problem with PC. $$$$ and low population. Ive been a PC gamer for 10+years. Console and PC have their pros and cons. You can sit in your room and upgrade your rig every two years and waste money to play with your very few online friends. Ill stick with xbox barely spending much at all each year and playing with my friends IRL. I dont take gaming seriously anymore. Its childish.

lol at the 3 monitor thing. Fps's on 3 monitors is stupid. its cool for like 2 hours and then you're like... oh sweet how much money did i waste?

100fps on bf3, three monitors? lol. give my your specs. i would love to hear them :)

EmeriicanZ thats pretty good i guess i really don't wanna buy a new console anyways... if they do make a new console in 2013 they should make it so you can transfer all of stuff from your xbox360 to the new console.

I Think they will. Years of work won't just go to waste. you probably can recover your acc. on to the 720, but if you don't have live, then you can get it by transferring your memory into the 720's Storage device...

Conquistador I would've been pretty pissed if Microsoft had released a new Xbox this year considering the Xbox Slim just came out last year and I would have to be purchasing another...

The slim came out in 2010
