Sonic Colors Ultimate has been available via early access since Friday, but already early adopters have started flagging up multiple technical issues with the Blue Blur’s remastered Wii title.

While the Switch version of Sonic Colors Ultimate seems to have been affected the most in regards to these issues, it appears all versions of the game are suffering from bugs and crashes. However, the Sonic brand’s social media manager has revealed that SEGA is looking into these issues ands that an update is in the pipeline.

Quick aside: we've seen some graphical issues that were caused by an emulator which is unfortunately outside our control.

Sonic Colors Ultimate goes on general release tomorrow for PS4, PC, Switch, and Xbox One, but as mentioned above, the game was available via early access as part of the game’s Digital Deluxe Edition.

While Sonic hasn’t had the best track record with 3D games over the past 20 years or so, Sonic Colors Ultimate is without a doubt one of the better modern titles available.
