Report: Medal of Honor: Warfighter is Danger Close's next game, hits in October

EA's been teasing the next Medal of Honor for some time now, so it's not a huge surprise to hear more about it on Twitter. Game Informer's Jim Reilly spent the past half hour sharing some info, saying the game is called "Medal of Honor: Warfighter," is arriving this coming October, and runs in DICE's Frostbite 2.0 engine.

The info is apparently coming from a copy of OXM, which arrived a bit ahead of EA's intended marketing push, it would seem. Reilly also says the game's multiplayer will be handled in-house by EA Danger Close now, rather than DICE as was the case with 2010's Medal of Honor reboot.

Update: The Medal of Honor blog offered a teaser image of the game, confirmed the title, and teased more details in the coming weeks. Boom! See the full image on the other side of the break.

I cannot wait. I was so addicted to moh 2010's multiplayer. But since dice isnt going to do the multiplayer this time, i wonder what will happen..

I dont care what anyone says, Medal of honor is the perfect mix between battlefield and call of duty. I love playing call of duty as well as battlefield, even though both require different ways to approach playing the games to have fun such as call of duty more apt to go ape sh!t and kill everyone yourself, and battlefield if you try those tactics you will screw yourself. Overall if you like both battlefield and call of duty than I think medal of honor is a great. One flaw I saw in the previous title was the fact the company support of the game sucked as very few patches were ever released.

I Enjoyed the previous one alot, the MP wasn't that good but the campaign had the best story/campaign I've ever played. Can't wait :D

i am not falling for medal of honor again i have been playing medal of honor since 2000 and was pumped when it came out on the 360 but it was a total fail compared to how it was on the previous consoles the only half decent part was the mp and even then it was like a demo version of battle field.

Well i know i will be buying this game, loved the last one. The campaign and multiplayer was boss.

Nice. I enjoyed the latest release and expect nothing less from this one. Definitely on my to-buy list :)
