Crash Bandicoot 4 is releasing for PC in late March

Activision has confirmed that Crash Bandicoot 4: It’s About Time will be released for PC via Battle.net on March 26.

As revealed in the new trailer below, the game will arrive on PC two weeks after today’s PS5, Xbox Series X/S and Nintendo Switch release.

According to Nintendo Life, the physical Switch version of the game isn’t available in European stores as expected.

While it’s available digitally via the eShop in Europe, the boxed release appears to have been delayed, with UK retailer Game currently taking pre-orders ahead of a “TBC” 2021 launch.

Developed by Toys For Bob, Crash Bandicoot 4 first released for PS4 and Xbox One in October 2020.

Players who own the game on either platform are eligible to a free next-gen upgrade within the same console family and save data is also transferable.

Crash Bandicoot 4 is priced at $59.99 on PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, and $39.99 on Switch and PC.

Narratively the sequel connects to the original trilogy developed by Naughty Dog and it offers platforming gameplay evocative of the original games.

Crash Bandicoot 4 was well received by critics, earning the PS4 version a Metascore of 85 based on 95 reviews, and the Xbox One version 83 based on 17 reviews.

Activision recently teased “other fun happenings” in celebration of Crash Bandicoot’s 25th anniversary this year, which it said will be announced at a later date.
