Player Banned for 5000 Days from Modern Warfare 3

When the team behind Modern Warfare 3 talked up the new banning system, they meant business.

One player, who shall remain anonymous, has been banned for 5000 days. That’s about 14 years without being able to access the Modern Warfare 3 servers. As you can see below, he has served the first two days of his sentence. Infinity Ward creative strategist Robert Bowling explained via twitter that a 5000 day ban is effectively a permaban. Of course, Bowling is assuming that no one out there would wait that long to get back to playing Modern Warfare 3

Whatever he did must have been very stupid.

They could have least made him prema banned.
No point of having 5000 days, but whatever, it is kinda funny, unless i get that ban :/

He boosted received multiple bans and kept boosting this ban happens after you keep commiting the same offence.

...Yeah, that's kinda dumb. As for the bans, I am happy to see them actually taking the necessary steps to prevent exploitations. If only people could just play the game and accept how it goes. Instead of feeling that they need to cheat. For whatever stupid a** reason.
