Battlefield 3 CM Congratulates Modern Warfare 3 for “Best Shooter” Award

Daniel Matros’ reaction to Modern Warfare 3 winning the VGA’s best shooter of the year.

Last night, Modern Warfare 3 pipped Battlefield 3 to win the VGA’s best shooter of the year. Battlefield 3′s global community manager, Daniel Matros, congratulated Modern Warfare 3 for winning the award. He went on to say that Infinity Ward and Sledgehammer Games “made one hell of a game.” However, in Matros’ “heart and mind” Battlefield 3 is “still number one.” Matros must be glad that he dodged a tea-bagging. It should be noted that neither shooter was nominated for the game of the year category, and Skyrim snagged that trophy. On the multiplayer front, Portal 2 was the winner against the two FPS games mentioned above and Gears 3.

Legitsmith Call Of Duty shouldnt show off... And nor should Battlefield... They both have their down sides and upsides... But IMO its Battlefield that is better.... Call Of Duty doesnt have a jet and it doesnt have the map size and graphics even on pc.... Its time Call Of Duty buffs up and puts in some different graphics and my own vehicle to drive.....

That has to be the dumbest post here. COD isn't a vehicle based game. Anyone could easily say "Battlefield 3 has vehicles and the big maps, which I hate. It's time Battlefield buffs up and puts in some smaller maps and remove the vehicles."

That is by far the dumbest comment here. Battlefield is Battlefield, COD is COD. Don't ever wish for them to change completely. BTW, small maps and no vehicles suck balls.

LMFAO you are probably one of those people that bought the game played it and couldn't accept the fact that you dont have the dedication to play a game meant for REAL warfare conditions... Don't troll on my comment saying its dumb... Call Of Duty is soon to be dead and I personally think Battlefield is going down with them!
Gaming will soon come to and end... is it no obvious that if congress can censor the internet that when they vote to make gaming illegal that the gaming community will not be able to vote against it? the majority of the community is not 18 and older they instead are usually 12 - 17... I don't even know why people fight over a game... it's just something on your screen that you control and try to fight over... I'm done feeding the troll herd... Enjoy your game's...

BF3 just like any other fps is easy, I don't understand why the MW3 hating BF3 fans think BF3 is hard.

It's hard to win a game in BF3 because it requires team work, and no one talks in BF3..so its hard to have team work without people talking.

But its easy to have a "good" game in BF3, if you're slighly good in any other FPS game. By a good game I mean you get a positive kill to death ratio and contribute to your team.

And as I've said, I like BF3, I just happen to like MW3 more. If that means I hate BF3, then I guess I do.

Oh and your comment was dumb because comparing BF3 to MW3 is like comparing apples to oranges. And you're saying MW3 is bad because it doesn't have have big maps and vehicles like BF3..lmao

Playing Battle of Duty: Modern Turdfare version blah blah blah makes me hard. The bigger K/D spread I achieve the more inches in length and girth are added to my penis. I choose my preferred game based on whichever one allows me to maximize my K/D spread. It's a good thing now too, since Colleges and Universities are now accepting K/D spreads and Leaderboard standings in lieu of SATs. And when the North Koreans, Russians, and Iranians invade, I'll have all the necessary training from playing videogames to defend my couch and tv from totally implausible scenarios. I drink Dos Equis, and I approve this message.
