Housemarque has released a new trailer for Returnal, its upcoming third person roguelite shooter, and the focus is on combat. While we know about dashing and tools like the hook shot, this trailer showcases some of the various weapons, tools and even parasites that players will stumble upon. Check it out below.

Among the weapons is the Tachyomatic Carbine, an assault rifle that fires ricocheting shots, and the Shockstream which emits a burst of electricity. You’ll also stumble upon devices like the Cthonos which dispense consumables like Shield Vials that negate one hit. Various “unknown” devices are also in play like the Damaged Fabricator that can provide perks like Selene’s suit emitting an explosion on getting hit.

Remember those strange parasites from earlier videos? They actually serve to provide both positive and negative effects. For example, kills might net you additional health but cause enemies to leave pools of acid on death. The trailer concludes by showcasing a blade that Selene can acquire for close combat.

Returnal is out on March 19th, exclusively for PS5. Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks.
