Modern Warfare 3 multiplayer trailer shows new modes, maps

Activision has launched a new Modern Warfare 3 trailer focusing on the game's new multiplayer modes.

Sledgehammer Games co-founder Micheal Condrey and Infinity Ward executive producer Mark Rubin offer a behind the scenes look at Capture the flag variant Team Defender, dog tag pick up mode Kill Confirmed, as well as user generated game modes which allow you to customise existing game types.

They also discuss and show off some of the multiplayer maps you'll be waging war in, from London to Paris and New York, explaining that the locations retain the verticality of previous series entries "but reduce the [number of] danger spots so that the maps flow better and feel better".

I have a funny way to win in team defender.
Okay, we get a full team and then go to the middle of the map and kill ourselves. Then there will be all those dogtags. The enemies will try to run to them. As they do that, we kill them.
Probably won't work though...

So STFU and just enjoy the fact that we get to play another Call of Duty title this year. You talk like it's easy to make a game better from than the previous game. For Team Defender the first person to get killed drops a flag now what happens if some kills them self at the start of the round?

Wonder if they thought of that?
