Warner Bros. Interactive has officially announced Hogwarts Legacy, it’s next-gen adventure game based on the Harry Potter series.

Developed by Avalanche Software (Disney Infinity) and set for release in 2021, the title was previously described in press reports as an open-world title in which players can explore a large recreation of Hogwarts and surrounding locations.

The earlier reports claimed the game would release of PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X / S and other platforms. The game will be Avalanche’s first release since it was acquired and reopened by Warner in 2017.
