Minecraft to be updated before major release

4.8
Minecraft-creator Markus “Notch” Persson is a busy man; while he’s not topping the list of Humble Indie Bundles contributors (even the new one), or planning a conference, or trying to induce other developers/publishers to settle what has now become a lawsuit over a friendly game of Quake 3, he and his team at Mojang work endless hours to make sure Minecraft remains a one-of-a-kind game. Even on mobile platforms.

To this end, Notch wrote on his blog the game will be updated again ahead of its November 18th release, implementing “two more major features” by October 18th, which gives the team a solid month to go bug-hunting, ensuring the game’s release is as good as it can be. It was left unsaid what these “major features” will include or add to the game, but time will tell soon enough. After all, we’re just three weeks away from finding out.
