Just Cause 4 will be free on the Epic Games Store next week

Just Cause 4 and Wheels of Aurelia have been announced as next week’s free Epic Games Store titles.

They’ll replace Close to the Sun (normally priced at £24.99) and Sherlock Holmes: Crimes and Punishments (normally £19.99), which are now free to download until April 16.

The Epic Games Store’s weekly free game promotion, which launched alongside the storefront in December 2018, will run throughout 2020.

The digital marketplace is also currently running a spring sale featuring discounts of up to 75% on selected games until April 16.

Epic Games recently launched its own publishing label with upcoming projects from Remedy (Control), Gen Design (The Last Guardian) and Playdead (Inside). Epic Games Publishing will offer “the most developer-friendly terms in the industry” so that creators can “focus on making great games”, the company said.

The terms of its publishing deals include full creative freedom and IP ownership for developers. Epic will front all development costs and share profits 50/50 once these costs have been recouped.

Cent This is one thing Epic does right. They always make some games free and it's nice to see for those stuck at home or people who can't afford games.

That's true but I personally don't like their client.

It's not all that bad. They provide free games permanently or for a certain period of time and most the time it's something that you can play even for just a little bit.

I remember playing Just Cause 2 back in the day but never played anything else of the series.

It should be free forever. I did not like this game whatsoever.
