Minecraft Dungeons Won’t Have Cross-Play At Launch

4
After warning fans that the release of Minecraft Dungeons might be delayed from its original April launch window due to the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic, Microsoft and Mojang have now confirmed that that is indeed going to be the case, with the dungeon crawling RPG now primed to release in late May. While making that announcement, Microsoft also dropped some other details on the game and which features it will and will not have at launch.

One of the things the game won’t have at launch is cross-platform multiplayer. That said, Microsoft have also confirmed that that is still very much in the pipeline, and cross-play across all systems will come in a free post-launch update in the “near future.” No exact date or timeframe has yet been provided, but hopefully it won’t be too long after release.

Minecraft Dungeons is out for the Xbox One, PS4, Nintendo Switch, and PC on May 26.

Int I didn't even know Minecraft was bringing out a dungeons version?

Guess so. Wonder if it's any better than that story mode thing they had years back.

Not a big deal probably wouldn't use the feature anyways.
