Nintendo isn’t happy about its IP being used in Dreams

3.8
Sony has taken down a Dreams creation over its use of Mario.

According to Piece_of_Craft, his Mario creation made in Dreams was taken down for copyright infringement.

He states that the email sent to him regarding the takedown noted Nintendo as the complainant (thanks, Nintendo Everything).

Users have been creating all sorts of things in Dreams, many of which could be considered copyright infringement.

Media Molecule said in the past it was happy users want to recreate their favorite games, but also expect them to be pulled down.

If you see something cool related to one of your favorite games created in Dreams, you better try it out before it gets removed.

A little scummy move by Nintendo but I guess it makes sense on why they would do that from a business standpoint.

All more of a good reason to bash and hate Nintendo.
Damn them all

It's beyond me why Nintendo pursues such an absurd dedication to quashing anything that attempts to use its IPs in any way. 95% of the time it's free marketing. I can understand it in the case of Dream creations getting too close though.
