Call Of Duty Mobile Was Second Most Downloaded Mobile Game Of 2019

3.3
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was a game that showed just how big the franchise still is, and that title is still getting updated on a regular basis. But it’s not the only Call of Duty game going strong, as you can take the series in your pocket with Call of Duty Mobile. It’s also gone on to show the strength of the IP.

Call of Duty Mobile has seen consistent downloads and revenue since its launch. It’s added lots of content and quality of life support, such as official controller support returning. According to Sensor Tower, the game was the second most downloaded game of 2019. For its launch quarter alone it managed to amass 180 million downloads. The only thing that actually surpassed it was the ongoing Pokemon GO mobile title, though Call of Duty Mobile did outsell it in the last quarter of 2019.

Call of Duty Mobile is available now for all compatiable iOS and Android devices.

I'll be honest I downloaded it and played it for about 4 hours. I liked to think I was a lot better then the people that played that game at the time and I even considered getting a bluetooth controller to do it. Then I just bought modernwarfare for the xbox which enabled me to stop playing the mobile. Guess they just wanted you to buy into more stuff through free brand awareness.

Maze I never downloaded it, but this isn't too surprising. It looks great for a mobile game and it has a lot of great classic maps. I should probably try it with my elite 2 since it has Bluetooth. Glad to see Pokmon go at number 1 still though instead of fortnite!

Pokemon Go will more than likely remain top for the foreseeable future. Great marketing, great game. COD mobile was good at launch and they seem to have fixed a lot of the major bugs. I haven't played much since launch though, can't fully comment.
