Creative Director Leaves Halo 4

Ryan Payton was the Creative Director for Halo 4, but recently quit the project and 343, detailing the game as a "crazy endeavour". Payton has been tasked with heading up the creative team at 343 Industries and creating the new fiction for the highly anticipated sequel to the popular Halo franchise.

In a recent interview, Payton spoke on several reasons why he 343 which ranged from "being drained" to having "severe depression".

"I never thought I'd get to the point where I was so drained," Payton said. "I think time is the most valuable thing we have and I've decided that I'm not going to waste one more day working on something that doesn't speak to my values."

Halo 4 was revealed earlier this year at E3 2011 and is scheduled for a 2012 launch.

Damm hope halo 4 is just like halo 3. I mean halo 3 was the first game I ever got for my xbox360. I love halo so much. Halo is my favorite game and I love cod. Halo just love the last part of the story. Having to drive a warthog to the spaceship with ground collapsing. Halo + Me = Love and a family

my first halo game was halo 2 and i loved it so much, halo 3 was also a great game, i then played halo 1( didn't like the gameplay that much prob because i played 2 and 3 first, but the story line was great) and then i played halo odst, i did not like it, being a UNSC soldier just not fun, firefight was meh, but the 2nd disk with halo 3 multiplayer and all maps was worth it XD, halo reach, the campaign was OK, it wasnt horrible (not taking any of your teammates in to account, they were all stupid except jorge) and i got bored of multiplayer in a month after i got it. Halo CE i might get, might not....and i want Halo 4 to have a great story as halo1-3 did but i don't think it will, i don't know for sure yet.

Halo 4 has the potential to be one of the greatest games ever made. Have you ever played Halo? Halo 1,2, and 3 were amazing. Come back when you have played those 3.

Wow, im not buying this then, I'll watch the leaked ending when it's released on Youtube in 2012 and be done with it. Now I'm scared to buy Halo CE Anniversary.
