Destiny 2: Shadowkeep New Trailer Debuts During Stadia Connect

The latest trailer for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep debuted during the latest Stadia Connect presentation, which showcased a number of titles.

It may be the best time to get into Destiny 2 now, but Google really wants you to get into it on their Stadia streaming platform. During their latest Stadia Connect presentation, Google reminded us that Destiny 2: The Collection will be part of the Stadia Founder’s Edition and showed off a new trailer for Destiny 2: Shadowkeep.

Shadowkeep is all about Nightmares, and Guardians will have to team up to hunt them down. This expansion, the second large expansion after Forsaken from last year, will have players go back to the Moon, a significant location from the first game. It’s also the first big expansion for the game since developer Bungie split up with original publisher Activision.

The difference between platforms is becoming blurred, with cross-save support coming to Destiny 2 coming this week, meaning that players on PC or consoles can bring over their characters to the Stadia version of Destiny 2 once it releases.

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep, along with the free-to-play New Light with all year 1 content, will be out for all platforms on October 1. If you want to play Destiny 2: The Collection specifically on Stadia, you’ll have to wait until the release of the Founder’s Edition of Stadia in November of this year. Check out the new Shadowkeep trailer from the Stadia YouTube channel below.
