The Coalition is promising a lot of big things for Gears 5, from its campaign to its multiplayer. The game is looking pretty good, and hopefully the ambition can be matched by what we end up getting. Today we also got several new videos that all look like we’re on the right path with a break down of the newest mode, Escape, the Map Builder and the console that will launch with the game.

The first video focuses on letting us know what Escape is and how you play. You’ll be in the shoes of some “hive busters” as you scramble to escape a hive in the process of said destruction. It will come with a map builder, that’s the focus of the second video, which will let you customize your own Escape map with enemies, gear, map tiles and a good deal more.

Finally, we get a up close and personal look at the recently announced Xbox One X limited edition console. It comes with the special new Gears-themed controller, Ultimate Edition of the game, exclusive skins and a custom sound effect when turning it on and off.

This will all be available when Gears 5 launches on Xbox One and PC on September 10th.
