- Evil Genius 2: World Domination Reemerges at E3 After 2 Years
Rebellion Developments confirmed two years ago that a direct sequel to classic management sim Evil Genius was in development. That being said, little has been heard about Evil Genius 2 since then. After years of waiting, the game finally reemerged at the PC Gaming Show today as Evil Genius 2: World Domination. You can watch the cinematic reveal trailer below:

- Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Revealed
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 was just revealed at the PC Gaming show at E3 2019.

- Chivalry 2 Announced, Brutal Combat Showcased in New Trailer
Chivalry 2 will see some big changes and improvements to its combat. The developer has sought to revamp the combat, movement and animation systems, allowing for more readable actions when fighting. It’s more satisfying when two knights go at it but also more accessible.

There’s a quicker pace than before as well, allowing for more intense battles. The campiness of the series is still intact – you can beat a man with a chicken while quoting Shakespeare, for instance. Chivalry 2 is out in early 2020 and will be out first for the Epic Games Store on PC. Stay tuned for more details, especially with regards to when it will be on Steam (if at all).

- Midnight Ghost Hunt Announced
Midnight Ghost Hunt might be the coolest game I have seen so far at E3. the game looks to combine the prop hunt genre we have come to love in some Call of Duty games with a bit of a supernatural twist.

In the game, players will battle against each other in a 4v4 PVP setting. Players will have to work together while utilizing an assortment of gadgets and tools to hunt down ghosts that are hiding inside the mansion. On the opposite side of the match, ghosts will be able to possess objects around the map and fling themselves at the hunters. Hunters will need to try to take out all of the ghosts before midnight comes or they will lose the match.

If this looks a bit familiar to some, it might be because Vaulted Sky first shared a work in progress clip on Reddit back in November of 2018 that received quite a bit of praise from the internet. Then, another post in March got some more.

- 'Starmancer' Is Your Next Space Colony Simulator
The game first appeared on Kickstarter in early 2018 and reached $139,685 of its $40,000 goal in just three days. Those interested in accessing the beta for “Starmancer” can check out its official website.

- Mosaic Trailer Revealed
Mosaic is developed by Krillbite, and is set to launch this year. Check out the trailer below.

- Conan Chop Chop is Real, Releasing on September 3rd
Conan Chop Chop will be coming to Xbox One, PS4, PC and Nintendo Switch on September 3rd. A variety of warriors to choose from, quests to embark on and a plot to save the world can all be expected. Stay tuned for more information from the PC Gaming Show as it rolls on.

- Unexplored 2 Revealed
"Unexplored was more or less a game for me to prove the technology, that we could do the content generation in the right way," he says. "And now it's really opening the world and making it much grander. Here we're doing something similar: Instead of planning out a dungeon, we're planning out the entire map. So we know what's going to be on the map and we can use the same sorts of foreshadowing techniques to fill in every individual level and try to make it feel as coherent as we possibly can."

- Zombie Army 4: Dead War Announced
Zombie Army 4: Dead War is set in 1946 and sees a band of heroes fighting against the Hitler’s army of Plan Z zombies when they reemerge despite the events of Zombie Army Trilogy. The game will see several levels based on locations in Italy, with a Venice level specifically being highlighted. The developers also confirmed that there will be a ton of skills, attacks, cosmetic items, and emotes for players to customize themselves with. Zombie Army 4: Dead War will also stand out from the typical Sniper Elite title when it comes to gameplay as it features special supernatural abilities like lightning strikes that players can use. And of course, Rebellion’s famous X-Ray feature will also be present in the game.

Zombie Army 4: Dead War is hitting the Epic Games Store, PS4, and Xbox One in Early 2020 before hitting Steam in early 2021.

- Remnant: From the Ashes Get a New Story Trailer
Remnant: From the Ashes will release on August 20, and Adams announced at the PC Gaming Show today that those who pre-order will get early, "VIP" access on August 16. You can learn more on the official site.

- Planet Zoo Release Date and Gameplay Revealed
Game director Piers Jackson says Frontier are creating what they believe are the most authentic animals that you'll have ever seen. They think, feel and react to the decisions you make. In the first trailer, they mostly seem to be relaxing. They deserve it, putting on a show for crowds all day.

"You're not just seeing all the lovely, pretty animals," says senior artist Liesa Bauwens. You'll be doing research and learning about conservation, too. It's a modern zoo where you'll be able to educate yourself about the animals you're looking after.

You'll be able to get a sneak peek on Frontier's livestream. You'll be able to see the sorts of decisions you'll need to make as a zoo boss, which involves more than just keeping animals happy. You'll have staff to manage, guests to thrill and poo to clean up.

Frontier has also revealed Planet Zoo's release date. The zoo's gates will open on November 5, with a beta planned for this summer.

- Last Oasis Trailer Revealed
Developer Donkey Crew announced Last Oasis back in January, making quite the entrance with an incredibly impressive trailer full of massive, colliding behemoths. The new trailer has plenty more fights and crashes, as well as skirmishes between bands of players on the ground, but Last Oasis isn't all warfare.

- Per Aspera Trailer Revealed
Per Aspera is being developed by Tlön Industries and is being published by Raw Fury, with a planned release date in 2020.

- Vermintide 2 Versus Trailer Revealed at The PC Gaming Show
Vermintide 2's first expansion pack, is out in August. It adds a whole new race, the Beastmen, as well as a new level cap, more weapons, and a lot more.

- Klei's Griftlands is Back as an RPG
This is the first we've seen of Griftlands since it debuted in 2017, but Klei actually posted on Steam about it back in October, saying "we jumped the gun on announcing it because we thought we were further along than we were. After testing it out in-house, though, we felt that the game just wasn’t delivering the experience we wanted, so we went back to work and have quietly been working on it since."

The alpha launches on the Epic Games Store on July 11.

- Auto Chess Trailer Revealed
Dota Auto Chess is a wildly popular Dota 2 mod that we summarised as "the joyful deck-based Dota 2 game that Artifact isn't". It's so good that Valve is making a version for Steam, but previously announced that it would not be partnering with the mod's creators Drodo Studios for its version.

"We had great conversations, but we both came to the conclusion that Valve and Drodo could not work directly with each other for a variety of reasons. We ended up agreeing that we’ll each build our own stand-alone version of the game, and support each other to the fullest," said Valve.

That statement makes more sense today. In a segment by PC Gaming Show sponsor Epic Games, Drodo announced that it will be making a version of Auto Chess for the Epic Games Store. It will simply be called Auto Chess (dropping the Dota), and will roll out in addition to a mobile version that's also being developed by Drodo.

That means we'll have a Valve-made Steam-based version of Dota Auto Chess (which may or may not be called Dota Underworlds), and an Epic Store version created by Drodo. The store wars rage on.

- Cris Tales is a gorgeous love letter to classic JRPGs
The art style is gorgeous, and while the time-warping mechanic is difficult to envision even with the help of the trailer (for me, at least), you can get a taste of it in action courtesy of the demo that's available on Steam from today until June 24. There's also a website with more at cristalesgame.com. Cris Tales is expected to be out sometime next year.

- Valfaris Gets a Heavy Metal Trailer
Valfaris looks like a shelf of heavy metal album covers brought to life, which shouldn't be a surprise if you've seen the team's previous action-platformer, Slain: Back from Hell. The gothic fantasy land has been swapped for a sci-fi citadel orbiting a dying sun, and you can get your first look at it in action in a new trailer from the PC Gaming Show.

- Maneater Trailer Revealed
Sharks are wonderful animals and do not spend all their time swimming around looking for people to eat, and they definitely do not rush at people from the depths, catch them in their jaws, perform multiple backflips in the air, and then eventually slam them into a concrete pylon. It does look like a lot of fun to do that, though.

PC Gaming Show sponsor Tripwire announced Maneater at last year's show, and this year it returned with a new trailer and the first gameplay footage of the 'shark-PG.' Check out the trailer above, and some of the gameplay in the Twitch clip below (we'll have the full clip of the segment up soon).

Things have changed quite a bit since the announcement last year. Tripwire acquired the Maneater IP from its original developer, Blindside Interactive, and put an internal team to work on the game. They've redone art and redesigned game systems, and Maneater looks to have come a long way since last year's trailer.

As for the RPG elements, your shark will "evolve" as you play, fighting humans and other undersea predators, and there'll be "rare shark loot" to find.

There's no release date for Maneater yet, but it's coming "soon" to the Epic Store.

- Terraria Unveils The Huge Journey's End Update
The PC Gaming Show brought us some big news about 2D dig ‘em up Terraria today. The fourth major update is on its way to us at some point near the end of the year and it’s bringing more content than you could fit in a thousand chests.

For those who aren’t familiar with Terraria, it is a 2D sandbox game that has you working your way through a plethora of different over-the-top boss fights until you’ve eventually defeated what is basically Cthulu. You might have looked at the game and thought “that doesn’t seem right” but I assure you it’s true. Along the way you spend time upgrading your weapons by mining precious minerals from the very ground you stand upon. It even has a few distinct classes that you can switch between freely, it really is a lot deeper than the cutesy pixel art would suggest.

The Journey’s End update, which was announced today, is free to those who own Terraria—as is always the way—and will be revisiting nearly everything in the game, making wide ranging changes that would be major even if there weren't any new content. But there is: over 800 new items are being added.

In case you’re keeping count, that’s an increase of roughly 120% on what is within the game currently. Some of these will be things you can stumble across in your adventure, while others will be craftable. There’s no word on the specifics of how many new weapons or equippables there will be, but we only have 5 or 6 accessory slots anyway.

There will be new enemies to defeat and new challenges to overcome. New enemies are exciting for sure, though whether or not that means new bosses remains to be seen. The new challenges bit could be relating to the special events like the Pirate Invasion and Frost Moon, which would almost definitely mean new bosses, but we have to wait for confirmation. Oh, and there will be a beastiary in-game for you to track these enemies and learn a bit about them. They do say that knowledge is power.

There’ll be some new mini-biomes too which are coming in along with a new world-generation system. What these are is a mystery, but you can probably expect more nests and dungeons if what we have now is anything to go by.

Perhaps the two biggest new features are the ability to play golf and another even harder difficulty mode called Master Mode. If you’ve ever made it through Expert mode then you know just how challenging the game can be, so to ramp it up, even more, is going to take some doing. Maybe we’ll be getting a new accessory slot and special items to go with the new mode, or maybe it’s just for the masochists out there. Golf, on the other hand, should be a pretty chilled experience.

That’s pretty much everything from the update, it looks to be a pretty exciting one overall.

- Warframe Teases Ship-to-ship Combat
First announced last year at Tennocon, Empyrean takes a team of three players into orbit around planets to fight against enemy capital ships. It's kind of like FTL in that each player on the ship will have different responsibilities to juggle, like putting out fires or repelling enemy invasions, boarding the enemy ship to sabotage it from the inside, or shooting at squadrons of enemy ships. It looks hectic and ambitious as hell.

- Genesis Noir Trailer Revealed
We took our first look at Genesis Noir in early 2018, when we described it as "a stark romp through the entire universe." That's a very sweeping sort of description, isn't it? Fortunately the website at genesisnoirgame.com has a little more of a prosaic breakdown: It's "an adventure game with an emphasis on exploration, simple interactions, and generative art."

- El Hijo's New Trailer Sneaks Onto The PC Gaming Show
Developer Honig Studios says that using shadows is at the core of the game, and while you'll have different mechanics to play with, it won't be heaping lots of new ones on you. Instead, variations and twists on familiar mechanics will be gradually placed in your path as the environment becomes more dangerous.
