Despite some good news about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare, it appears that PS4 players will be getting DLC 7 days before Xbox One and PC players.

Well, this is a bit disappointing. Despite hearing some pretty amazing things about Call of Duty: Modern Warfare just a few moments ago, one thing was just revealed that’s pretty disappointing. According to PlayStation’s version of the Story trailer, the PS4 players will be getting content first before players on other platforms.

While this is disappointing for COD fans on Xbox One and PC, the fine print on the trailer does say that it’s only a week long exclusivity period, meaning it’s following suit with Black Ops 4’s periods last year. If you want to check it out for yourself, you can find the trailer linked at the bottom of the page, which is almost identical to the one released a little over an hour ago.

While I play only on PS4 right now, as someone who had to deal with the Xbox exclusivity deal for years I definitely feel for Xbox One and PC players who are getting shafted by this deal. Because it’s only a week like its previous entry, then it’s not a ton to complain about, however, it still sucks.

In other Modern Warfare news, it was confirmed just a few hours ago that the game will include cross-platform support and will not have a season pass, instead opting to give free maps and events to its players.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is set to be released on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC on October 25, 2019. Players who pre-order the game right now will receive an in-game Prestige token for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4.
