Twitch Prime Members Can Now Get a Free Year of Nintendo Switch Online

Twitch Prime has partnered up with Nintendo Online Services to bring a great deal for those wanting to benefit from online play as well as other additional features

If you have yet to jump into the online service that Nintendo provide for the Switch or you just want a really great deal that’ll save you some money, then this is the perfect time for you. If you’ve got Amazon Prime then you’ll also have access to Twitch Prime which is a service that gives users a free monthly channel subscription to their favorite Twitch streamers, but now it looks as though you can get more bang for your buck as they have partnered up with Nintendo to give away up to a year of free access to the Switch’s online features.

So, how do you go about getting a whole year of Nintendo Switch Online for free? Twitch Prime members can claim three months of Switch Online via the Twitch Prime website straight away, however you will need to then wait for 60 days after your initial claim to manually grab the remaining nine months of service – this seems to be more of a safeguard so that folks just don’t sign up for the Prime trial, grab the free offer and then leave Amazon high and dry in their dust.

You have plenty of time to make use of this offer as you’ll have until 24th September 2019 to claim the three free months of Nintendo Online Service and until 22nd January 2020 to claim the nine additional months so, all in all, it does seem like a really good offer for those that want to get stuck into the large library of classic Nintendo Entertainment System games that’s at your disposal as currently a year of Nintendo Switch Online costs $19.99.

It's great that they're doing this, it's just free money & if you're using Nintendo switch.. then this is a huge benefit for something most of us have anything, free games, loot etc Twitch Prime might be one of the best things every invented, love seeing crazy things like this :)

OGTrey079 I mean this kind of worth it only if you're actually using amazon prime or their streaming service that come with it. Otherwise you're paying more then what the online actually cost. I feel like some people get finessed with the "free sub" that comes with prime tho.

I got Prime literally just for the 2 day shipping, I now get 12 free subs during the year, and loads of free stuff in games. This service is damn awesome if you use it right, that's for sure!!

I have to agree here. I use Amazon alot and with all the added extras that come with it, makes it even better.
